Delete Your NerdyPup Account

You can delete your NerdyPup account at any time from within the app. This page explains how and what happens to your data.

How to delete your account

  1. Open the NerdyPup app
  2. Go to the Account tab
  3. Tap Delete Account
  4. Confirm by typing DELETE in the confirmation dialog
  5. Your account will be permanently deleted and you will be signed out

What gets deleted

  • Your account and profile information (name, email, timezone)
  • Your association with all dogs
  • Push notification tokens
  • Subscription data

What gets retained

Previously logged care events are kept but anonymized — they are no longer linked to your identity. This preserves shared dog care timelines for other caregivers.

Retention period

All personal data is deleted immediately upon account deletion. Anonymized event data is retained indefinitely.
